Dr. Bill Emendorfer has had a passion for sports, health, and wellness throughout his career.  Doctor Emendorfer received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, from the University of Tennessee Center for Health Science in 1977.He also holds a B.A. in Sociology and Zoology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.


Bill received a scholarship to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1969 to play football as an offensive guard and defensive tackle.  Among other accolades, Bill was alternate captain his senior year, first-team All S.E.C. and recipient of several All-American honors.  He was also a member of The University of Tennessee’s wrestling team, where he consistently excelled in the S.E.C. and was an N.C.A.A. qualifier.  


Bill has taken his drive, dedication, and excellent leadership skills from his athletic career, and applied them to various business and professional endeavors.   Upon graduation from Dental school, he settled in Athens, Tennessee and opened his dental practice.  He retired from dentistry in 1991 to pursue other passions in the restaurant industry.  He served as CEO of a multi-state/ multi-unit restaurant company from 1985 to 2012.

Our President and CEO Dr. Bill Emendorfer has been passionate about sports, health, and wellness throughout his life. From being an All SEC / All American at The University of Tennessee in football and an NCAA qualifier in wrestling along with serving as (Former) Executive Director of the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame, Dr. Emendorfer is committed to helping athletes be the best they can be.


Bill has been active in many business and civic organizations throughout his career such as Board of Directors Y.M.C.A.(President); Board of Trustees, Academy of Air National Guard Dentists; Board of Trustees Child and Family Services; Board of Trustees, Cleveland State Community College Foundation; Chancellor’s Associates, University of Tennessee, Knoxville; University of Tennessee College of Business, Advisory Council; University of Tennessee Board of Governors; President of the Board for the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame (President); Administrative Board, Keith United Methodist Church; and currently serves on the McMinn Health Council and University of Tennessee Microbiology Board of Visitors.


Bill’s positivity and drive to excel in all he does, are infectious.  He has always remained close to his first loves, sports and his desire to stay healthy.  He has experienced and understands how an athlete’s body can be subjected to wear and tear, and has a passion for providing relief and recovery for those clients.
